How much is shipping?
Currently our shipping is a $7 flat rate. Orders over $100 can enjoy free shipping.
When and how will my order ship?
We currently ship USPS ground which takes about 3 business days. We prepare and ship your order within 3-4 business days. When your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email from us.
If I sign up for your mailing list, am I going to get spammed?
No. We don’t give, sell, rent or trade your contact information. We also don’t send out many special offer emails…so if you get one – it’s worth reading! Finally, you can unsubscribe any time with no strings attached.
What if an item I order is out of stock?
We try to keep our stock up to date but it’s still possible we could sell out of a popular item so quickly we may not be aware until the end of the day. If this should happen we will contact you to ask if you’d prefer the item in another fragrance, prefer to hold your order or ship your order without the item.
I live nearby. Can I come pick my order up?
At this time we’re not equipped to handle will-call order pickup. However this may change in future and we’ll be sure to announce it if that does change. In the meantime, be sure to check back at our blog for upcoming boutiques and events where you can come sample and buy our products.
Can I have my order shipped overnight?
Yes. We advise you to call before placing an expedited order. This will give us a chance to confirm stock and your ship date.
What is your return policy?
We’ll happily accept returns for any product that is defective or an order that was sent incorrectly. Returns must be made within thirty days.
Product returns must be authorized before you ship an item back. We’d like the chance to make it right and to do that we’ll need to hear from you. To initiate a return, please contact us by emailing service@spottedowlsoap.com
What is your sample policy?
We’ll be happy include a free sample of one product in your order. If there’s something you want to try let us know in the comments with your order. If we have the requested sample in stock, we’ll include it. If not, we may make a substitution.
Do you make custom orders?
Yes, we do. There are two caveats, however. Soap needs two to three weeks to cure before we ship it and there is a minimum order volume for each product type. We create all our products in small batches so we don’t mean you need to order a palette – but we might require a case. If you’re interested in a custom order please contact us so we can talk about it!
